JVE was appointed the electrical contractor for the MV upgrade at the Rotunda Maternity hospital as part of extension work that included;
Extension from existing ESB MV switch room to customer side in MV room with 2 No. new MV cubicles, install new 1,600kVA transformer.
Install new generator sync panels, LV Bypass panels and LV MDB in new LV Switch room.
Reconfigure associated existing LV and generator cabling and control cabling to suit.
Arrange and coordinate all above works so as no loss of power was ever experienced by the hospital, achieve this with the installation of temporary generator prior to disconnection of existing LV supply to hospital.
All works co-ordinated over an agreed phased Programme of Works
